Abakaliki Shot Down, Over 3000 Pro-Buhari rally.

Abakaliki was completely shot down and grounded on Monday 4th Sept 2017, with over 3000 pro-Buhari showing their support to the President.

The rally was also joined by members of the Ebonyi state chapter of the national ruling All Progressive Congress (APC). Naijacrib gathered the rally was organized to thank God for the recovery and safe return of President Muhammadu Buhari from his recent medical trip to London.

The Acting state Chairman of APC, Mr. Eze Nwachukwu, who addressed the rally, commended the supporters for the huge turn-out.
“We thank God for the recovery of Mr. President from his sickness and successful return from the medical vacation in London to resume his normal duty as president.

The party faithful was led by the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, and a former governor of the state, Chief Martin Elechi. Also in the peaceful rally was the former House of Representatives members for Afikpo North/South, and Ebonyi/Ohaukwu Federal Constituencies, Chief Christopher Omo-Isu, and Chief Peter Ogoali respectively; former governorship aspirant on 2015 under PDP, Engr. Paul Okorie, among others.

Mr. Eze Nwachukwu added; “We are calling for more support for Mr. President while urging him to avail himself for 2019 to enable him to consolidate on the many achievements so far recorded by his administration.

“We want to reiterate that Ebonyi is an APC state and that we pledge our unalloyed and unflinching support and loyalty to the President and Commander – in – Chief of Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, ” Nwachukwu added.

From the parties secretariat, located along the Abakaliki/Afikpo Highway, the APC faithful, under the leadership of Pastor Eze Nwachukwu, led a very long procession through the popular Ogoja Highway, crisscrossing the Abakaliki/Enugu Expressway.
