The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and the Super Eagles of Nigeria are back for a great clash in the 2018 World Cup qualifying series.

The match was the second of a doubleheader between the two heavyweights of African football. Nigeria had emerged as 4-0 winners on Friday and carried the confidence of that victory into the following meeting between the two sides today.

While World Cup qualification is seemingly out of reach for Indomitable Lions. The opening stages were even, the Cameroon dominated possession, and Nigeria was happy for their hosts to retain the ball in safe areas. With Victor Moses and his namesake Simon on the wings, the Super Eagles were suited to playing on the counter-attack.

The two wingers of the name sake where a perfect combination when Victor Moses of Chelsea Fc found space for a snapshot in the box. The ball ricocheted away from goal, but straight into the path of Simon Moses, who guided it into the roof of the net with his left footed and wheeled away for a gymnastic celebration.

After the 2nd half break, the Cameroonian side continued to prod at the Nigerian defense, but with little success. The Super Eagles were made to rue missed chances ten minutes later when inexperienced goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa misjudged a sprawling dive at the feet of Djoum. The Senegalese referee put his whistle to his lips.

the Cameroonian striker Aboubakar arrowed the ball into the center of the goal, making it 1-1. Cameroon launched waves of attack, but the goal would not come. Nigeria defense side was prepared for there attacks but all their efforts proof abortive bringing the match to a draw.
