Governor Ambode swears in five new permanent secretaries out of which three are women.

The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has sworn in five new Permanent Secretaries and three of them are women, into the State Civil Service.

The list of the five new Permanent Secretaries are Dr. Shamsideen Allison (Lagos State Primary Health Care Board); Engr. Saliu Adeyemi (Ministry of the Environment); Mr. Senayon Hundeyin (Ministry of Home Affairs); Mrs. Yetunde Odejayi (Deputy Governor’s Office) and Mrs. Florence Ebunoluwa Oluwasuji (Permanent Secretary/Tutor General, Education District V).

He explained that the new permanent secretaries were chosen based on merit, adding, “We have left no one in doubt about our strong belief in the capacity of the Public Servants of our State as the engine for the actualisation of our vision and dream to transform our State to become Africa’s model megacity and preferred destination for investment and tourism.

The Governor in his words;”expressed his confidence in the abilities of our newly appointed Permanent Secretaries”.

“I expect them to add value to our State, for the greater service and benefit of our people”.
